Christmas Day

Christmas morning we woke up, and Gabe made breakfast - blueberry pancakes for me! (I told you Gabe really outdid himself this year - I was so spoiled!!) We spent the morning together, and then packed up early that afternoon to go to Grandma & Grandpa O's.

Mommy opening Zach's first present from Grandma & Grandpa

I never purposely post pics that aren't 'good'... but this one was WAY too funny not to!!
Gabe & I's faces are priceless... and SO is Zach's, because he was currently working on a huge diaper blow-out. In the pics to follow - he's wearing a blue blanket because Grandma was washing his 'Christmas Clothes' for us!! Of course, I'd packed extra outfits, but wanted him to wear his Christmas digs!!

Grandma/Grandpa had bought the naked baby more clothes - yay!

Dad's looking at Z's new overalls, and Z and I have our heads in the clouds!

"Grandpa's little Sidekick" onesie - so cute!

Big Baby on his Big Gift!

(Great) Grandma O always made us take a picture with the gifts we got each year.
The tradition continues - I know she would be happy to know we did!

He did pretty good - and we have a pic to let him know later if he forgets. :)

We finished our Christmas day eating a yummy Christmas Dinner with the Smith Family.

Till 'Next Year' - we wish you a Very Very Very Happy New Year!!

Lots of Love,

Tasha, Gabe, & Zachary

Zach's First Christmas Eve

Gabe had to work the Saturday morning of Christmas Eve. We got Zach all dressed up... there are only so many years that he won't have a say in his outfit!! :)

While Gabe went to work, he dropped Z & I off at my parents so we could spend the morning with Grandma & Grandpa O. After work, Gabe, Z, & I went to Dillons and bought food for our Christmas Eve dinner. While Zach and I played that afternoon, Daddy was hard at work cooking us Prime Rib - Yum! While dinner was in the oven, we went to the Christmas Eve service at Central Christian. Zach was pretty well behaved... other than passing gas so loud that people around us SURELY thought it was Gabe or I. The noise was WAY too loud for a baby, but not baby Zachy!!

Dinner was AMAZING!! Gabe made us Prime Rib, Baked Potatoes, Shrimp Scampi, and Garlic Bread. Oh my! Zach had the usual - Mommy's Milk!

Our Christmas Eve Spread

Zach had half of his bottle, then swang while Mommy & Daddy ate.
Don't worry - he didn't forget about his bottle, he knocked it out soon after!!

Gabe's plate (he let me eat all the shrimp!)

The little Z man's seat

My plate!! :) So good!

After we ate dinner, we put Zach down for some tummy time. While he was laying down, Gabe read him, "The Night Before Christmas". Even though Zach probably won't remember it, he wanted to start the tradition early!

Christmas Eve was hard work - he passed out soon after Daddy started reading!

We covered him up, let him take a nap while Mom & Dad opened his presents :)

Christmas Eve at the McKeever's Home

I loved my gifts from Gabe this year - he really outdid himself!

We would both agree that our FAVORITE gift this year was our little boy. :)

Hard Work Pays Off!

That 'tummy time' stuff paid off! Our strong little man rolled over... exactly 7 weeks from the day he was born!! Wohoo! We were so proud of him!! I put him down for tummy time in his pack & play... left for about 10 minutes, and then returned because I couldn't figure out why he was SO quiet?? Well, it's because he rolled over!! When I looked in, he was rolled over on his back, just smiling up at me!! He was pretty proud of himself. He didn't want to do tummy time anymore, so he stopped!! :)

I was so excited that I picked him up right away, gave him about 100 kisses, and told him how proud I was of him! So I didn't get a photo of him IN the pack & play, but I did one afterwards! :)

Daddy & Zachy waving, yay Zachy!

Tummy Time at Grandma Mc's

Tummy time is usually a good time... well, for about 10 minutes. The last 20 minutes are usually pretty tough. Probably more on us than Zach. After the first few minutes, he realizes he's on his tummy, and no one is going to pick him up. He can get pretty angry! I keep telling myself he's working his arms, his neck, and heaven knows he works his lungs while he's screaming!! :)

Dad got down on the floor with him!

Taking a break :)

We're up again!

Picking these cheeks up off the ground is hard work...

Another rest... think if I look cute they'll give up, and pick me up already??

Boys will be Boys

While we were visiting Grandma & Grandpa Mc in Marysville... our friends Janine & Ryan stopped by with their little boy Tatum! Here's a few pics of the two little ones. They'll be playing in no time!!

Checking each other out... I think they remember each other! :)

Tatum pushing around the younger kid... no fair! :) Ha ha!

Zachy is not happy!

Zach telling Tatum, you just wait! I'll be able to hang with the big boys soon!! :)

Ho Ho Ho!

Just because Zach was only 6 weeks old doesn't mean it was too early to meet Santa!! He's got to get those brownie points in early with the big man in red! Here's some photos of their first visit!!

No tears here... maybe next year??

Ohh, a little bored... where are the presents??

I think Santa was more excited to see Zach! :)

Telling Santa (in baby sign language) what he wants for Christmas!

Like Father, Like Son

I often find them hanging out in the man cave...

But they are like white on rice wherever they go...
(at Grandma/Grandpa Mc's)...

Out & About

The little Z man loves getting out and about. He does pretty good in the car seat - while the car is running! Good thing we are always up/down 135!!

Still sleeping from the car ride... but Grandma O has me!

Swinging in the swing my Great Grandma Collins bought me.
Soon enough I'll have this all figured out, for now... I sleep.

I love being held - I've already figured that out!

Visiting Grandma K at Mommy's Work

Just talking it up....

Sweet little man :)

We took a trip to Aunt Jessie's House!
Sweet Gracie was so excited to hold 'Zachy'!

Checking him out...

I think he was getting heavy!

Ok, now he's on the move!
