Gobble Gobble

Zach ventured out on his first road trip for Thanksgiving! We left the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving, and headed to Lyons for food & family at his Great Grandma Dee's! He did pretty well on the hour and a half drive from Wichita, but did get a little hungry right before we arrived. So, Mom crawled in the backseat, and gave him a 1.5 oz 'snack' to hold him over. No one involved likes Zachary in meltdown mode in the car! We did what we could to accommodate the little guy. :)

Zach did pretty good on his first overnight visit since he came home from the hospital. Er, so I heard. Zachary's Aunt Lindsey stayed up with him, while I caught some Zzzz's. Gabe was supposed to get up with him, but I heard the next morning that Lindsey was the one taking care of the little guy. Thanks Sheila!!

The next morning, we woke rested (except for Zach's Aunt Lindsey), and ready for the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, food, family, and games! Zach got dressed up in his holiday attire - he sported a "My First Thanksgiving" outfit given to him by his Grandma & Grandpa Oakley. His 'Turkey Butt' was a big hit!
